Delete your BoreCast account
BoreCast users can delete their app account and associated account data from the signed-in app or by contacting DrillerDB from the web.
Delete from BoreCast
Sign in to BoreCast, open account settings, and choose Delete account. The web app and native iOS and Android apps all use the same authenticated deletion endpoint. After confirmation, BoreCast deletes the app account and signs the device out.
Web users can go directly to BoreCast account settings.
Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have access to the app, email craig@drillerdb.com from the email address associated with your BoreCast account and ask for account deletion. If you cannot send from that address, include enough information for DrillerDB to verify account ownership before deletion.
What is deleted
BoreCast deletes your account record, authentication sessions, passkeys, local subscription mirror, auth events, and usage events tied to the account. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by BoreCast. If you have an active paid subscription, contact DrillerDB before deletion so the Stripe subscription can be reconciled.
Usage events may remain in backups until the normal rolling backup retention expires. Aggregated, de-identified operational metrics may be retained for product reliability and abuse prevention.
Timing
In-app deletion is processed immediately when the authenticated request succeeds. Email requests are reviewed and completed as soon as ownership is verified, with a target response within 30 days.
